We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to carry a
line of unique, hand thrown, functional pottery from a skiIled and very talented
artisan. This pottery, which is safe in all phases of kitchen use, is made with
a dark brown stoneware clay. The technique of "intaglio" imagery is utilized to
create high relief Llama patterns and designs, then a deep country blue or spruce
green glaze is carefully applied, contrasting color and texture of glaze and clay.
Since this is not mass produced pottery, we will be offering only a limited
number of select pieces at various times throughout the year for purchase. Please
come back here occassionally to see what we have for the current selection. Additional
pottery will also be available for purchase at llama shows which we attend. |
